The SR18A can be easily maneuvered using the HV Control System. Both the SR18A and SR18A-J are equipped with horizontal and vertical movement control (HV control) as standard which permits the operator to move the basket straight in a vertical and horizontal direction at the same time with a single lever operation.

These models have the greatest outreach for their class, with a horizontal outreach of 16.7m and 15.8m for the SR18A and SR18A-J respectively.

Aichi's improved computer system provides for smoother and safer operation. On the job site, the operator is supported and protected by "Travel speed control", "Rotation speed control", and "Lifting speed control" at all times.
